The CTHS Manitoba extends its sincere appreciation to the stallion owners of Nonios (Larry Falloon and Denis Huberdeau), Lent (Watson Bay Stables), Seattle Serenade (2 Points Ranch Inc.), Keepcalmncruiseon (Dr. Betty Hughes), and Red Knobs (Scott Mackenzie and Madison Leonard).
These owners have generously donated a complimentary stallion breeding season for 2027 to be awarded to the breeder of the winner of the 2026 Frank Arnason and Hazel Wright Sire Stakes. The winning breeder will have their choice from the listed stallions.
Their continued support plays an essential role in strengthening and advancing the breeding programs within Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Late Nominations for Manitoba-breds
Non nominated Manitoba-bred 2 year old horses may be made eligible to the Buffalo Stakes by paying 1% of the purse plus all missed nominations fees to the CTHS office by the third Tuesday in May or 10% of the purse at time of entry to the race office, in addition to enter and start fees.
Non nominated Manitoba-bred 3 year old horses may be made eligible to the J.W. Sifton (colts/geldings) and the R.C. Anderson (fillies) by paying 1% of the purse plus all missed nomination fees to the CTHS office by the third Tuesday in May or 10% of the purse at time of entry to the race office, in addition to enter and start fees.
Non nominated 3 year old horses may be made eligible to the Frank Arnason Sire Stake and the Hazel Wright Sire Stake by paying 1% of the purse plus all missed nomination fees to the CTHS office by the third Tuesday of May or 10% of the purse at time of entry to the race office, in addition to enter and start fees. Horses must be sired by registered Manitoba stallions.
